Unlock the power of video & captivate your audience with Goldcast Video Hubs!

The Goldcast Video Hub allows you to quickly create, customize, and publish a collection of videos online. You can showcase the hub on a Goldcast-hosted site or seamlessly embed it on your website. This guide offers step-by-step instructions for building your video hub using Goldcast video blocks.

Let's get started!

What is a video hub?

In Goldcast, a video hub refers to a branded and customizable collection of videos and clips, which you can host on a webpage or embed within your website. You can use it to publish videos of your on-demand webinars, product demos, customer testimonials, how-to videos, event recaps, thought leadership, and more.

It can function as a one-off campaign page, an aggregate video library, or an interconnected browsing experience, organizing content in a visually compelling way that enables your target audience to explore and interact with videos, supporting lead generation, product education, and customer engagement.

Here are a few design tips to help you get started:

#1: Style the Video Block

Use the Content and Style tabs on the top of the video block to customize its overall appearance. We recommend changing the title, adding a description, etc.

Click the Swatch icon in the Videos section to customize the appearance of the video cards on the block. You can change the following:

  • Card Style - To style the video cards on the hub. You can adjust elements such as borders, padding, shadows, corner radius, and background colors to create a visually appealing video layout. It also contains the styling elements for the carousel button in the carousel layout.
  • Card Image Style - To style video thumbnails. This has options for setting thumbnail aspect ratio, borders, and shadows, allowing you to customize each thumbnail to stand out and grab viewer attention.
  • Card Footer Style - To style the description below the videos. You can modify the font size, color, spacing, letter case, etc. This card also has toggles that let you turn on/off video title and description, giving you complete control over the information you want to present on the hub page.
  • Video Sidebar Style - To style the text that appears in the sidebar while the viewer plays a video. You can customize the font color, size, spacing, letter case, etc., to ensure it complements your overall branding. This card also allows you to add a brand logo to the header of the video sidebar.

Heads Up! Changes you make on the left panel will instantly update the preview on the right, giving you a clear idea of how these styling elements will look on the hub.

#2: [Optional] Add Additional Video Blocks

You can also add multiple video blocks, if needed. Video blocks are available under the Custom Blocks section.
