Waitlist (Waitlisted Event)
An event registration setting that allows attendees to sign up for an event even after capacity is reached or when manual approval is required, placing them on a waiting list. If an event is using a waitlist, new registrants get a “Waitlisted” status instead of immediate confirmation. An organizer can then approve waitlisted people or they are admitted automatically if spots open up. Goldcast also provides a “Waitlisted” and “Rejected” status as part of engagement data for registrations. Example: Our webinar was capped at 500 attendees. Once that limit was hit, additional people were put on the Waitlist – those waitlisted registrants received a notification that they could only join if space became available, and we manually approved a few key clients from the waitlist to attend.
Webhooks Integration
A Goldcast integration that sends real-time event activity data (such as registrations, cancellations, or attendance) to external platforms via a webhook URL. Example: Sending Goldcast registration data to a custom CRM in real time through webhooks.
Webinar
A Goldcast event type designed for quick, single-session virtual events. Webinars in Goldcast are essentially one-session online events with no extra rooms or parallel tracks – a simpler format focused on a main presentation or panel. They typically have a condensed agenda (no networking lounges or sponsor booths) and are ideal for straightforward online broadcasts. Goldcast automatically generates certain post-event assets for webinars, like on-demand recordings and AI-powered summaries, once the session concludes. Example: A 1-hour product demo or a live panel discussion is well-suited to the Webinar format in Goldcast. It keeps all attendees in one virtual room and doesn’t involve complex multi-session scheduling, making it quick to set up and easy for viewers to follow.
Writing Rules
Custom rules defined when creating a voice profile (for example, tone, sentence structure, punctuation style). These refine how AI generates brand-consistent text.
