FAQs

1: Should I update the clip in my upcoming event if I make any edits using Content Lab?

No. You do not need to update the clip after making edits in Content Lab. Once you click the Publish button in Content Lab, Goldcast will automatically update the clip everywhere it is used. This means you won't have to replace the default clip manually, saving you time and effort.

2: Why can I see my clip in Video library but cannot add it to any event?

A clip in processing status cannot be added to an event or template. Once processing completes, you can add it. Processing typically takes about the same amount of time as the video length to complete.

3: Can I delete a clip from Video Library?

Yes, you can delete a clip from Video Library, but only if it is not in use in any event.

When you delete a clip, it's important to understand that this action only removes the clip from your Video Library list. The clip itself is not permanently deleted from the system, and you will still be able to access and view it in Content Lab if needed later.

4: When I rename a video clip, does the new name appear everywhere the clip is in use or visible?

Yes, the updated name will appear everywhere the video clip is in use or visible.
