Introduction
Speaker labels play a key role in making your video content more engaging and professional by clearly identifying who is speaking at any given moment. With Content Lab's new editable speaker labels feature, you have full control over how these labels appear on your recordings and clips.
This enhancement empowers you to align speaker labels with your brand's visual identity by customizing fonts, colors, and corner styles — all within a simple, intuitive interface. Whether you're refining a webinar recording or creating polished clips for social media, these flexible label options ensure your content looks exactly how you want it.
Step-by-Step Guide for Editing Speaker Labels
The following are the steps to edit the speaker labels for Recording Studio recordings:
- Log in to the Goldcast Studio platform.
- Navigate to the Recordings module and choose the recording you’d like to edit.

- Open the editing workspace by clicking Edit Video.

- Click on any speaker label to open a customization menu. This menu offers various options to help you tailor the appearance of your labels. The customization menu provides the following options:

- Font – Select your preferred text font from the dropdown. The list includes fonts available to your Goldcast Studio organization.
- Colors – Adjust both the text color and the background color to align with your brand or desired style.
- Corner radius – Choose between squared or rounded corners to give your labels a sharper or softer look.
- Edit speaker – Update speaker details such as first name, last name, and more.
- Remove – Use this option to hide speaker labels throughout the entire video duration.
Warning! When you remove speaker labels, they will be hidden for the entire video duration — not just specific segments. To show them again later, see the Re-enabling Speaker Labels section below.
By following these steps, you can successfully customize the speaker labels in your recording.

Note
- If your video includes multiple scenes with different layouts, speaker labels will automatically adjust to fit each new scene seamlessly.
- The process for editing speaker labels in Recording Studio Clips is exactly the same as described above — simply follow the same steps!
