No. Once you add a user as an organizer, speaker, sponsor, check-in staff, or attendee in Goldcast, their email address cannot be updated directly.

This is important in cases where a user’s email domain changes (for example, when their company updates or transitions to a new domain). Goldcast does not automatically update or sync domain-level email changes. Users must manually update their information by following the steps below.


How to modify an email address

If you’ve entered the wrong email address or the user’s domain has changed, you’ll need to:

  1. Delete the existing user with the incorrect or outdated email to remove their access.
  2. Re-register the user using the correct email ID.

This process is required for all user types, including organizers, speakers, sponsors, check-in staff, and attendees.


Additional steps required

After re-registering the user with the correct email, they will also need to recreate or update personal profile details, such as:

  • Their Goldcast profile information
  • Speaker headshots
  • Speaker bios
  • Any other user-specific content previously uploaded

Profile and speaker assets do not transfer automatically when the email changes, since the Goldcast treats the corrected email as a new user.
